Each competition is designed to encourage creativity, precision, artistic thinking, and originality among students.

Coloring Competition

Group A: Nursery, Jr. KG, Sr. KG
Group B: Std. 1 & 2
Group C: Std. 3 & 4
Group D: Std. 5 – 7
Group E: Std. 8 – 10
Guidelines
  • Coloring sheets will be provided.
  • Students may use crayons, color pencils, sketch pens, or water colors.

Drawing & Coloring Competition

Group A: Std. 1 & 2 coloring umbrella, ( wax crayons, or oil pastels )
Group B: Std. 3 & 4 coloring fruits, ( wax crayons, or oil pastels )
Group C: Std. 5 – 7 Village life, ( water color, color pencils )
Group D: Std. 8 – 10 Wild Animal ( watercolor, color pencils )

Handwriting Competition

(Kannada & English)

Outstanding teachers and coordinators will be recognized with prestigious Karnataka State Awards based on the number of entries submitted.

  • Varnotsava Karnataka Kala Ratna Award ₹10,000 (3000 – 5000 entries)
  • Varnotsava Karnataka Chitrakala Praveena Award ₹7,000 (2400 – 2999 entries)
  • Varnotsava Karnataka Chitrakala Shreshta Award ₹5,000 (1900 – 2399 entries)
  • Varnotsava Karnataka Kala Jyothi Award ₹4,500 (1600 – 1899 entries)
  • Varnotsava Karnataka Kala Sourabha Award ₹3,500 (1300 – 1599 entries)
  • Varnotsava Karnataka Kala Vaibhava Award ₹2,750 (1000 – 1299 entries)
  • Varnotsava Karnataka Chitra Prathibha Award ₹2,250 (700 – 999 entries)
  • Varnotsava Karnataka Kala Gaurava Award ₹1,000 (400 – 699 entries)
  • Varnotsava Karnataka Chitra Protsaha Award ₹500 (200 – 399 entries)
  • Varnotsava Karnataka Kala Abhinandana Award Memento / Award (100 – 199 entries)

If entries range between 1 – 99 , the Art Teacher, Coordinator, and School Principal will receive a Certificate of Appreciation.

Note: If more than one teacher or coordinator is involved, the reward should be shared equally among all concerned members.
